Foams Used We use primarily
chemically crosslinked polyethylene. (XLPE) This includes
densities from 1.5 pound to 10 pound. These can be PE or PE with
EVA. We can also mold Vinyl Nitrile. |

 |
Rating Foams Foam is rated for
Density in PCF – Pounds per Cubic Foot. Foams are also rated by
Compression Set and Compression Deflection. Ratings of these and
other standards can be provided. |

Closed Cell – Open Cell We use closed cell material in most
of our products. Open cell material can be used in the vinyl
encapsulation process. |

Molded Surface Finish All molded surfaces are closed and
smoothed in the molding process. |

Bonding Foam Most foams used in our molding process are
bonded together with heat. In cases where this is not possible,
adhesives are used to augment the process. |
|

 |
Encapsulation This is a process where non-foam parts of
metal, plastic, wood or other materials are encased entirely
within or projecting from the molded foam part. |
